Modifying my trunk

I'm about half-way through moding my trunk for shows. I'll post a pic later when it's done.

I'm doing this:


All you have to do is drill a hole in each of the bracket supports and use something like cotter pins to retain the original function and just pull them out whenever to get this effect.

not bad at all I like it...but...I might try to find a way to keep it from hitting my bumper and tail lights other than that I like it alot. Good call.

Apparently only the the latch hook hits.

Maybe some bump stops on the edge of the trunk like would provent that.

I'll have it done tomorrow so long as it doesn't rain like it has been the past couple hours... off, on, off, on

Anyways, one of the harder parts about doing this is that you have to get in the trunk, which isn't very comfortable
